OUR MANTRA

CITIZENS FOR ENVIROMENTAL SAFETY (CENVIS) BELIEVE IN THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPLES:- • Life, wether that of animals or plants have a right to reproduce and the right to integral existence and maintenance and regeneration of its life cycles, structure, functions and evolutionary processes. • All nations, communities and Individuals are required to enforce the rights of nature. • Communities should be given incentives to protect nature and to promote respect for all the elements comprising an ecosystem. • Nature has the right to be restored. • The restoration shall be an obligation of the State, Communities and Individuals. • Individuals and communities that depend on affected natural systems should be compensated • Where there are cases of severe or permanent environmental impact, including those caused by the exploitation of nonrenewable natural resources, the State, communities and individuals should establish the most effective mechanisms to achieve the restoration and adopt adequate measures to eliminate or mitigate harmful environmental consequences.
